Officials of the Israel Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei, led by their Representative, Mr. Omer Caspi, together with Mr. Tslil Lahav, Head of the Trade Mission, and Ms. Elsa Hsieh, Senior Trade Officer, recently paid a courtesy call to FFTC to learn more about the Center’s activities and explore possible areas of collaboration. Accompanied by Ms. Abby Ya-Ping Lee, new Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Tel Aviv, and Sharif Fang, Section Chief of the East Mediterranean and North Africa Section of Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the whole delegation was welcomed by FFTC Director Dr. Su-San Chang and Deputy Director Dr. Tomonari Watanabe. Both Drs. Chang and Watanabe briefed the delegates about the Center’s vision, mission, past and current activities, and possible linkages between Israel and FFTC in the future.
