FFTC’s new Korean agricultural policy specialist Mr. Lee Kyong Won recently spent his official first day at the office. Over tea, he was warmly welcomed by the FFTC family headed by Director Dr. Su-San Chang. As the new agricultural policy specialist, Mr. Lee, who has worked for 30 years in Korea’s National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (NACF), will be in charge of the FFTC-Agricultural Policy Platform, which is now on its 9th year. He will also be assisting some of the Center staff in organizing several workshops and events, and will be the main coordinator of the Center in its activities with its Korean partners.
