“Applicable Solutions Against Rice Blast in Asia” international workshop ended successfully

 

FFTC has just completed its first online international workshop on “Applicable Solutions Against Rice Blast in Asia” on September 18. This one-day webinar event was co-organised with Japan International Research Center for Agricultural Sciences (JIRCAS) and the JIRCAS Rice Blast Research Network.

This event invited 15 speakers from 12 countries, and 163 participants registered to join the webinar from 20 countries.

The workshop highlighted blast research network for stable rice production by JIRCAS, International differential varieties for rice blast and characterization of resistance gene using them, and blast studies using differential system. The workshop papers and presentation slides will be uploaded to the FFTC website soon.
