FFTC signs MOU with IPB University

The Center recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the IPB University of Bogor Indonesia, with the two parties agreeing to promote collaboration through exchange of scientific and technical publications and information. The MOU, which was signed by former FFTC Director Dr. Kuo-Ching Lin and IPB rector, Arif Satria, is also an agreement to collaborate in the conduct of seminars, workshops, training courses, cooperative demonstration projects and agricultural extension programs, provision of technical consultancy services and exchange of scientists for sharing of experiences and technical knowledge and achievements, among others.

Late last year, an FFTC delegation headed by Dr. Lin went to IPB University in Bogor Indonesia to discuss the details of the said MOU.

This photo was taken late last year when an FFTC delegation, headed by of former Director Dr. Kuo-Ching Lin, visited the IPB University in Indonesia where he met Prof. Dir. Arif Satria, Rector of IPB University. In that meeting, the idea of strengthening ties between the two organizations through an MOU signing was discussed. After a few email exchanges, the two leaders signed the said MOU.

At the meeting last year, former FFTC Director Dr. Kuo-Ching Lin and Deputy Director Dr. Akira Hasebe met with the two leaders of IPB University, Prof. Dr. Arif Satria, Rector of IPB University and Dr. Ir Suwardi MAgr, Dean.
